Cathy Little

Over 20 years as a worship leader, God has birthed in my heart a burning desire for the deeper waters of authentic worship. Through my own journey of personal brokenness, profound loss and grief, I have become particularly passionate to see worship leaders become healed and whole, empowered and released to lead God’s people effectively and powerfully into His presence.

I walk out this passion on many levels.  I am the founder and director of Simply-Worship, Inc, a resource to the Church focusing on worship leader development from the inside out, through consulting, teaching, training and mentoring,  I also serve on the lead team here at WorshipMinistry.com and oversee worship for the healing ministry and Nights of Healing Prayer at my home base, RiverStone Church in Kennesaw, GA.  I was also one of the founding members of The Worship Studio where I continue to serve wherever needed, which has been primarily at various conferences and events as workshop instructor and worship leader. The Worship Studio is a modern day House of Asaph dedicated to “raising up an army of artists to reveal God’s glory.”

I am the author of, “Shame on You …No More: A Worship Leader’s Journey,” and also released an EP called, “Safely Through.” Both document layers of profound healing that have propelled me forward into my passion and destiny.

I long to see the church consumed with the message of John 4:23 “It’s who you are and the way you live that count before God. Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. That’s the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship.” (The Message)

I have been a musician and singer-songwriter for most of my life and have had the privilege of leading others into the presence of God through musical expressions of worship for over 20 years. I grew up in a small town in northwestern Pennsylvania on the South Shores of Lake Erie and am the youngest of 6 children. I also carry a degree in Organizational Communications and Professional Writing from Cedarville University in Cedarville, OH. I moved to the Atlanta area in 1993 and attend RiverStone Church in Kennesaw, GA.
