Michael Pollard
Hi. I count myself as one of the lucky ones. I’ve always had a relationship with God. I grew up in the Gwinnett County area, just outside of Atlanta, GA. I have an older sister and a younger brother. My parents are blessings beyond words. Between my core and extend family, I have always been encouraged and supported to seek God’s Will in my life.
I was blessed to have a grandmother who encouraged me to get into drumming and to use it for God’s purposes. Her death gave me definition of how truly great God is and His continuance of grace. I was in college when her cancer came back and I heard someone pray for God’s Will for the first time. God rocked my world that day. He set into motion 3 weeks of peaceful transition for her and took her home with a prayer surrounded by her children. I thought he was going to heal her, but we had prayed for God’s Will. What He had in mind was something far better.
This situation revealed to me that He was/is/will always be the Great Scientist. I’m not just a “one and done” situation. He has marked my life with a series of catalysts that have propelled me to where I am today.
Today I live outside of Fort Collins, CO where I work as a 3D medical animator. God has blessed me with a beautiful wife, Emily, and our first son, Jackson. I am far too blessed to have great families that love and support us. I have served in various roles and capacities in facilitating worship. I’m good at worshiping, but I want to be better. That is my passion.
I currently serve at Timberline Church. God has marked this church body for something great and I’m enjoying the ride. God bless and thanks for your time.
Michael
