Nabiy has a true heart for God and is known to some as a prophetic minstrel, psalmist and pioneer of creative music. He is a man with many giftings—Artist, Producer, Senior Pastor and one of the youngest men in America to receive an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Divinity. Nabiy is well-known and respected as a music producer as well as an artist. Formerly known as Young Prophet to the Christian Rap Community, he was featured on two albums—Humility and A Chosen One by best-selling artist Mr. Real (formerly of Grapetree Records) and has also worked with other accomplished artists like Prime Minister, Ayeesha, and Christ Fa Real. He is now embarking on the release of this highly anticipated debut album entitled Kingdom Minstrel, Vol. 1—a prophetic instrumental album containing a beguiling mixture of worship, R&B and Hip Hop, as well as a healthy dose of ambient textures. Upon first listen it will become abundantly clear that this is a significant break from his long-standing roots as a Christian Rap artist, as the album has a very ethereal quality which will appeal to fans of all styles of music. Two songs on the album feature up-and-coming classical guitarist Alejandro Cassino.
In his role as Senior Pastor he has immersed himself in full-time ministry as the leader of Kingdom Life, Inc., a discipleship training ministry focused on a younger generation in desperate need of Christian mentoring. As an artist, Nabiy’s mission is not just to make music solely for Christians, but to make music that will touch the heart of the lost and enable them to experience the Spirit of God through soothing sounds and melodies.
