If your like me, as a vocalist, you struggle with volume issues and hearing yourself clearly. The Sensaphonics 2Max custom In-Ear Monitors can be your solution.

Sensaphonics was founded in 1985 by audiologist Michael Santucci Au.D., who is well respected within the world of Audiologists and In-Ear Monitors (IEM’s). Sensaphonics is also very aware of and addresses the issue of musicians and hearing loss with custom-fitted earphone monitors. This is important because as we all know, most houses of worship struggle with stage volume issues.  Sensaphonics custom IEM’s can help not only with hearing loss, but can greatly help with your struggles regarding stage volume.

Sensaphonics 2Max Custom In Ear Monitors

The Sensaphonics 2Max Custom IEM is a custom-mold, hand crafted, soft silicone gel-fit earphone. They offer a high level of sensitivity with a dual-driver design.  Frequency response is 20 – 16,000 Hz with up to 37dB of isolation. What does all that mean? It means more output at lower volume settings which is something all musicians and vocalists long for and all Sound Engineers want to produce, without increasing stage volume!

The 2Max custom IEM is perfect for personal monitor systems  because they are optimized to almost completely eliminate the difference between wired (loud bulky floor monitors) and wireless IEM systems. This can be a huge help if you are a vocalist, musician or a Sound Engineer.

I have owned a set of the Sensaphonics 2Max Custom IEM’s for over a year now and I absolutely love them. The soft silicone gel is ideal for a long rehearsal or live production as it virtually eliminates fatigue that hard acrylic in-ear monitors can cause.

2MAX Features and Benefits

  • Optimized for use with wireless IEM systems – gets louder, faster
  • Custom-molded from soft-gel, medical grade silicone
  • Far more comfortable than plastic earpieces, reducing fatigue in long-term use
  • Maximum isolation from ambient sound (up to 37 dB) for full-impact monitoring at lower volume levels
  • Flexible material maintains a full seal even during excessive jaw movement
  • Shock absorption protects speakers from harm
  • Dual-driver design for increased bass response and headroom
  • Transparent material virtually disappears in the ear (custom colors are available)
  • Silicone earpieces do not shrink, crack, or degrade over time
  • New field-replaceable cable system
  • Compatible with all popular IEM systems and portable audio devices

If your church hasn’t made the switch to an all wireless IEM set up, I highly recommend you do so. Your musicians, vocalists and sound engineers will be happier. Just like with anything new, it takes a bit of adjusting to, but with the correct installation team and a little patience, you will come to love a wireless IEM system.

God has blessed me with over 25 years of worship leading experience. When I'm not leading worship, I enjoy hanging with my wife of 23 years and my two children ages 12 and 9. I also enjoy riding my custom Honda Magna motorcycle in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, wakeboarding, boating, camping, and pretty much anything to do with being outdoors, especially on the water. I'm an avid sports fan, and I help coach my son's little league baseball team.  Learn more about me
