Scott Jasmin

I am a worship leader/worship consultant/songwriter.  I grew up going to church with my family and singing in the church youth choir.  I got my first set of drums at age 13 and have been drumming for over 30 years now.  At age 16 I bought my first guitars and immediately began writing songs.  At age 25 I gave my life to God, acknowledging Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.  I then began writing songs from the perspective of being born again.

As contemporary worship was coming of age, I began writing original praise and worship songs. <div>In 1993 I helped start a contemporary worship service in Rochester, Minnesota.  I served as the drummer, learning all I could about being a part of a worship team.  In 1995 my wife and I moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin where I served as a youth pastor.  During those years God started building in me a passion for worship and leading others in worship.  I started and led a worship service that grew and brought people to faith in Christ by helping them experience God in a new way.

When I returned to Minnesota in 1998, my focus was on serving the church in worship.  From 1998 to 2007 I served as a worship leader/pastor in a small church, helping it grow from 70 to over 200 and building a worship team equipped to lead God’s people into His presence.</div> <div>I continue to follow my calling to help the Church encounter Christ by assisting other worship leaders and their teams through blogging, seminars, worship leading, worship concerts and retreats.  I am also a songwriter and hope to share my songs of worship with the Church at large as a professional songwriter/recording artist.
